Australia: September/October 2017

In September 2017 we again returned to Australia. The plan was to reprise some of the ground covered in our 2009 trip but to take a little longer doing it this time.
The route took us south on the Stuart Highway out of Darwin in a campervan, east along the Arnhem Highway into Kakadu and out to Jabiru, then west along the Kakadu Highway back to the Stuart at Pine Creek and south to Alice Springs.
The return journey took us back up the Stuart Highway to Three Ways, east on the Barkly Highway, north on the Gulf and Carpentaria Highways to Boroloola and Bing Bong and west on the Carpentaria back to the Stuart and up to Darwin.
